Tête, noyer, 35 cm, 2009

Cette sculpture a été faite sur un morceau de bois de noyer au veines exceptionnellement belles. J'ai voulu de la façon la plus simple sublimer cette pièce de bois. Elle a deux cotés qui, comparé à une tête, peuvent être interprêtés de la façon suivante : le visage, coté poli est la face que l'Homme désire montrer au reste du monde, c'est la face "miroir" (vernie au tampon). L'autre coté, face cachée, est resté brut. Encore une fois cette sculpture traite du thème Yin et Yang.

This sculpture was made on a piece of walnut with exceptionally beautiful veins. I wanted to sublimate the simplest way this piece of wood. It has two sides which, compared to a head, can be interpreted as follows: the face, polished side that man wants to show to the world, it is the face "mirror" (polish). The other side, face down, remained raw. This sculpture addresses the theme of the man in the society.
